Art by Vanja, an Etsy store is made in the Fall of this year, with a focus on selling artistic paintings with different motives. The first motives were lighthouses, the sea, and ships. The first sold picture was with a lighthouse (find it in a gallery). Another motive that I like to paint is the flower motive. I love flowers and plants. They are so beautiful and unique, and of it, I could admire them again and again. Two flower photos I have sold almost immediately after I put them on the internet. I am promising that one of the art collections will be definitely devoted to flowers, maybe even more collections with different plants.

Currently, I still feel like working on the sea, ships, and lighthouses. The lighthouses are for me huge motivation and guidance, and I believe that a lot of people see the same. There is always light no matter how dark is it, that is what I want to say with a picture of a lighthouse. 

The sea represents sometimes calmness, sometimes an enemy. It represents our thoughts, feelings, our inner strength, and inner state, while ships represent one persistent and robust persona. That persona resists to the floods and is always looking and have focus on its goal and motivation. That is how I see pictures with those objects.  They could have many interpretations and none of them is wrong. We all have different way of viewing things, and I appreciate when someone add its own meaning. That makes picture even more livefull and present.

One collection that I am preparing is all about women portraits. Portraits of different woman in different colors have to show and represent all kind of women, strong and week, from the different countries, different colors, nationalities, etc. They are all important and they are all part of this game called life. That collection will be devoted to them and I hope that the exhibition will take place by the end of the next year.
