Travel and Arts

How travel and different destinations motivate me to create art

When I was younger I used to be inspired mostly by nature and new places that my parents would bring me. I am still inspired by nature the most, but lately, each time I travel I feel that I have to put my excitement about that place on paper. When I look closer, inspiration comes from the people and nature in that place. :) Each trip brings so much joy and broadens the horizons so that imagination is working better.

One of my first destinations without my parents was Prague and Vienna. I remember I was amazed by the architecture. After my trip, I was drawing a lot of buildings, in the hope to catch that beautiful architectural style. The country in Europe that I love the most is Portugal. Its amazing architecture, creative culture, and art whispers from every street caught my heart. That is one of the most beautiful and creative countries in Europe. Some of those streets, I had to paint.

Some of the exotic travel destinations that I still haven't been to but I already painted are Cuba, Aruba, and Mexico and I am planning to go to those places.

What is very interesting is that whenever I come to a destination that I already painted, I feel some connection.
That feeling is not possible to explain but like I connected with it through painting. Recently I have been in Brazil and I am planning to make a special collection inspired by Latin America. That will take some more time and I want to travel to each country before I paint that, but my admiration for those countries deserves that for sure. One of the ideas for women's exhibitions in all colors came after that trip.

Trips are amazing things that you paid for, and you get way much more than you expect. You meet new inspiring people, see new amazing places with an extraordinary history, great food, and many more things that you learn about yourself. Trips are priceless for me, and I can't wait for the next one. :)
